There won't be 'more teams' going to bowl games. There can only be so many...and it's 8-9. We already have 8-9. See, when F$U joins the SEC, either they're gonna start losing more and not make bowls, or they're gonna win a lot and take the place of some team like MSU or KY who will no longer make bowls. And FWIW, all of this is simply my opinion. But I do think I support my opinion with good points. I'm no expert on this, and have no inside info whatsoever.
The money to be made from potentially placing an extra team or two per year in a minor bowl is insignificant compared to the potential increases in TV money anyway. And that's what it would be. We already send 2 teams to the BCS a whole lot, then the mid-tiers are dominated by conference tie-ins.
At least Vandy is pretty good at almost every other sport. Ole Miss sucks at football, but they also suck at everything else, and you can get a cold beer in Nashville.
A&M fans are the worst. The most whining, jealous, butthurt, lying bunch of absolute duds in college sports. You'll never see more anti-LSU, anti_Louisiana crap than you will on an A&M board.
Fact. Venomous. That's what excites me about this. We don't have an actual rival. The Arky/LSU game for that despicable looking 'trophy' is a made up rivalry. LSU/aTm is gonna be a good one...
