ProudTiger...How about you tell us what's behind the whole Fresno State thing! I know that you like to correct me but you're not very good at it since you've been wrong earlier--everyone knows this. I know that you want to make fun of Bama and call out the score and how many sacks were in the game but--again everyone knows this... I (and I am sure some more do) want to know the real story about Fresno State. My story says that you guys were scared to play them and instead scheduled Western Kentucky AFTER being contacted by FSU. YOU said I didn't know what I was talking about and was wrong. SO, what's the true story--from a barners POV????
That's an easy one. Fresno State wanted to schedule. The proposed date for the game was to be Novemeber 19th, and the proposal was to move the Alabama game back one week, thus giving our top rival a "bye" week prior to the Iron Bowl while AU would play UGA, Fresno State, and Alabama back-to-back-to-back. Now what kind of idiot would agree to that? You'd need to be a total dumbazz to even consider it.:dis: By the way, Auburn would've pounded Fresno, as would most of top tier SEC teams. Get a clue.....
If Auburn would have "pounded" Fresno, then why would it be such a big deal to go back-to-back-to-back?????
RE, all you need to remember about schedules is 16-13 and 28-18. I have heard rumblings that uat wishes to rearrange their schedule so they do not have to finish with a couple of tough games. You might point out that if that happens, your first defeat will happen much sooner, and you will have to forgo all that premature exultation.
