You think that a team desiring to maintain an open date late in a conference schedule makes no sense???
I guess I will quote myself for the idiots that cant freaking read... Why would a back-to-back-to-back be so tough with a Fresno team in the middle that you would "pound"? That game would have helped your SOS and you didn't take it because it would have given us a bye...Hmmm, you think you would have learned your SOS lesson after what happened last year. :thumb:
I guess I am an idiot, how does this work, Auburn takes a game and it gives bama a bye? Don't put words in MY mouth about pounding someone. Notice if you will that sometimes supporters of a team may have differing opinions. My statements are about schedule strategy. Even our host at this forum had an open date scheduled late, which they had to give up due to Katrina. It is a common and preferred practice. AU's SOS would also be better if we could drop bama. I must add, if you do not understand the concept of an open date, we really do not have much to talk about.
Bet you ask the same question to ANY SC fan and you may get a sputtering "Lienert" if you are lucky...
okay... ENOUGH... 1st off: LSU beat both of you... 2nd off: Auburn would beat Fresno, and if they didn't what makes you think Bama would? 3rd: Let AU schedule weak opponents.... That is why they didn't win the title last year
Maybe AU wouldn't beat Fresno. Vaugn would probably miss a few field goals and Fresno win a close one. But of course Herbstriet would say AU is the better team, only lost because they CHOKED!!!
