They will all change. Not because he is a liar, but because that is how he negotiates. People have brought this up before, but his initial position is so extreme (most of the time) that having him budge at all mind fucks his opponents. They immediately think they beat Trump and talk more about what they got him to move on than focusing on the reality of what he gets. In fact, many of here pointed out his statements. There were 1980's- 90's -2000's pre trump remarks and then election Trump. People need to feel like they got something and Trump is going to abuse that feeling IMO.
You have to be extreme right wing to get out of the republican primaries, we have seen so many middle of the road conservatives do this. Mitt Romney was the most recent before this election. I think you are right, and I hope that this guy shakes things up and leaves both parties with a really sour taste in their mouth.
I was thinking today that this is no longer the Republican Party but is now the Trump party. Time to deal with being sensible and pragmatic vs a stubborn ineffective ideologue. The times have changed my friend, and for the better.
