Not good things but it's a necessary tradeoff. Without oil there would be no industry and no transportation. Fucking liberal west coast idiots won't allow drilling and oil exploration in the Pacific where it is known there is lots of oil but if we ever run out in the gulf they would be the first to cry about it.

Oil companies make every effort to make drilling and production as safe as possible if for no other reason that spills and lawsuits cost them $Billions.

Well maybe people in Oregon would drink oil but down here on da bayou mey we more smarter than dat. CO2 is a building block of all life on earth and is an inert oderless and tasteless gas.
