i dont eat candy at all. and i drink diet soda exclusively. for those rare occasions when i want to enjoy some sugary goodness, i should pay a penalty tax? i am not even fat, i am crazy fit!

also, we are currently subsidizing these products. is government so big that we are gonna control everything to this extent? we will both subsidize and tax the same exact thing? we want to control it from both sides?

also i should note that the foods i eat that make me fat on on occasion are mostly breads and macaroni and cheese, which i love. should those be taxed as well? perhaps there should be a tax on bakeries that sell cupcakes? i love cupcakes and will eat too many if i can afford it. why should the health care industry have to pay when i have a heart attack because i love cupcakes? shouldnt that expense fall on me and the cupcake-makers?

will okie have to stack her trunk with contraband fudge and make a run for mexico?
