Obviously doing his homework, the AARP, the leading lobbying group for the "Medicated Generation" has endorsed President Bush's moderate plan to help the underpresecribed senior citizens get access to generic drugs. Democrats oppose on the grounds that the plan involves free market principles, "cost" less than a minimum of $1 trillion and actually has a chance of working. The Dems insist just that any prescription plan have no chance of passing, would send the economy into a canyon rather than a ditch and have no free market principles whatsoever. Congrats to President Bush for seeking a middle-ground, doing his homeowork and helping our Seniors.

    'Supporting' doesn't mean 'satisfied'

That is LAUGHABLE how you use the word 'supporting' as if it means 'satisfied'. Of course, that is a step in the right direction, but is WOEFULLY inadequate and yet another example of a BROKEN PROMISE by this incompetent buffoon. He PROMISED a subscription drug plan for seniors and so far has proposed a 'senior discount card' that got laughed out of usefullness and a belated halt to the number of lawsuits that pharmaceutical companies can file to protect their patents (basically to delay their expiration). If he was really interested in senior help, he would have REALLY done something to get a subscription plan for seniors AND kept the GOP from trying to LEGALLY EXTEND patents by the pharmaceutical companies. Also, he would support the New England states plan to prevent drug companies from gouging consumers in this country while agreeing to sell prescriptions for far less in Mexico and Canada.

Another Sapling policy, another scam job and con game.
