You know what really bothers me about all this Weis is great and Ty is crap talk from those folks. Why have none of the guys Weis recruited been able to take away Ty's recruits position?
Because it wasnt' that they were horrible players, just horribly coached. Throw in a much better coach, and those players did much, much better. They're still not "elite" players on an upper echelon team, but ND is much closer now than it was 3 years ago. Now, there were also several "Weis" players that throughout this year, just not enough. There in lies the problem.
ND will have, what most domers consider, a Ty type of year with Weis as HC and with his own recruits. Just remember, it won't be Tyrone Willingham's fault. Of course, knowing most ND fans at good ole IrishAsses, I mean Eyes, it would be his fault that Weis sucks. Personally, I give ND 7-5 at best this upcoming year with a defeat in the "Take me to the Woodshed Bowl".

My bad, thanks for the link. I stand corrected - 4 ranked teams, I forgot about Ark (not playing Tenn next year, son). Glad to see Appy St. is off. Nice replacement later in the year, LA Tch should be much tougher!
Really. Of course it's how you do against the schedule. It just so happens while you guys think ole Weis is closing the gap on stronger competition, it appears to me that the weaker teams are closing the freaking gap on you. Enjoy the arrival of the white Ty!
