We used our #4 BCS ranking as well. I keep thinking your post can't get any more ridiculous, and they somehow do. Now go away.
Duh! That's the problem, you only play 2-3 decent teams dude........and you loose those games. The rest of the college football world sees it, it's just the escapees from the compound who can't understand why we don't acknowledge what's been proven.
I'm w/ Fishhead, this/his post has gotten way out there. I'm not saying bitterND should go away, but I think it's time for him to stop beating this dead horse. We need to get over the whole BCS issue and put this game behind us. I mean, I really, really, need to put this game behind me!
ND plays traditional powerhouse programs like USC, UM, Penn State. Who does LSU play again, outside the SEC?
I'm sure that's a relatively new phenomenon since the media, stubborn though they may be, are finally starting to realize that Notre Dame football is all talk and no sustance. The days of a 1-9 Irish team having a Heisman winner are long gone. Being from Notre Dame, you have no concept of what it is to play in a conference. LSU doesn't have to schedule "traditional powerhouse" programs because that comes naturally by our annual conference schedule. Would you not consider Bama, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, to be traditional powerhouses? Shoot, Ole Miss is as big a traditional powerhouse as Penn State who built their reputation by slamming Eastern cupcakes in the 60's and 70s.
The SEC is a "Traditional Powerhouse" but if you don't know that, we shouldn't be having this conversation. ND would not have beat Arkansas, Florida, Tennessee, Auburn, for sure in the SEC and South Carolina, and Georgia would have been interesting.............BAMA SUCKS! :hihi:
One thing you guys have to understand is that when teams, no matter their ranking, play ND, they bring everything to the table and then some. For teams that play ND, this is their NC. Every game ND plays is a rivarly game, where every team highlights ND on their calendar. If a team can beat ND, then that's their biggest win. UCLA played poorly all year long, but really excelled in only two games- the one where they upset SC and the one where they almost beat ND. If UCLA had beaten ND, that would have their biggest victory in years. But, the SEC teams play no legitimate teams outside its conference play. How are we supposed to know that the SEC teams are any good, when they just play each other? We're rewarding the SEC teams for its incestous behavior. When Arkansas, one of the top SEC teams, played SC the past two years, at home and on the road, it just got killed. If this is how good the SEC is supposed to be, then I think the media has been biased in favor of the SEC.
This is the funniest post i have ever read..... Most teams that play ND think it is a NC game... HA HA HA HA HA.... UCLA beating USC was more meaningful for UCLA then if they beat ND.. You should be a comic man... This is TOO funny Oh yeah if the SEC is so bad.. Why did it have 9 teams in bowl games including 2 in BCS??
Is it time to ban BitterND? His delusion and excuses are really starting to make me feel sorry for him. He just doesnt get it. All for the ban, Say I.
