    - It's not disrespecting a POW.
    - It's not attacking the Gold Star parents of a fallen American soldier.
    - It's not making up bone spur excuses to dodge the draft when everybody else is being called up.
    - It's not colluding with Russians to take down American democratic elections.
    - It's not defending monuments to traitors who took up arms against this country.
    - It's not wrapping yourself in the flag while trying to take down freedom of speech and of the press.
    - It's not promising veterans the revenues from a rally but then withholding the money until you're embarrassed publicly for cheating on your promise.
    - It's not about attacking fellow Americans for their ethnicity.
    - It's not a part of Donald Trump's character.

What patriotism is is not you. Dont think renowned neurosurgeon Ben Carson could extract Trump from your hate filled American hating head.

I was a hero in Viet Nam. I heroically avoided capture by the North Vietnamese by using my student deferment at LSU in 1972 !!

I was almost drafted. Graduated from high school at 17...registered for the draft in June and had not got my acceptance letter from LSU yet. And my lottery number was 6. They told me I'd get a letter in about 2 weeks telling me where to go and what to do. I was about to join the Navy because both my father and grandfather were Captains in the Navy.

I came close...my acceptance letter came 2 days later.

Pretty typical story back then. I went in the Air Force in 1964 before Vietnam became a real war. My dad probably saved my life by forbidding me from going into the marines which is what I wanted to do.
