There's nothing in that article that we haven't all heard before. Let's try to restrict Saban leaving/staying posts to new information please.
Yeah we need new info, like the unsubstantiated stuff we keep getting from Crawfish. I guess if it's good news, even though it may not even be remotely true, then it's ok.
I can try and make up some sources and info if people really want to hear stuff they haven't heard before.

"Nothing new?" This is the first time I've seen the Derek Dooley rumor (a) substantiated by "several sources within the Dolphins coaching staff" and at least partially acknowledged by "a Saban source" and the official Dolphins spokesman. I mean, there's no way you can look at Saban's quotes in this story and divine that he's going to stay at LSU. Skip Bertman says he knows that Nick is not using LSU as leverage, but if this continues into early next week, it'll be obvious that he is. Even Don Long seems resigned to the likelihood of Nick leaving (although he's lowered the odds of Nick leaving to 50-50). I agree with Don that now is a good time to go, if Nick is going to jump to the NFL sooner or later, since it would have minimal impact on recruiting due to the team's relative youth and limited scholarships (plus, it's considered a "down" year of sorts for Louisiana recruiting). I'm more interested in who will be here next, truth be told. I don't think the next coach will be any of the guys we're hearing about right now; I honestly think it'll be someone unexpected.
