Interestingly, the line for the Texas game started at LSU -7.0. Just prior to Saturday, it got as low as -3.5, signaling that the money was on Texas. After just checking now, it’s rebounded to -6.0. Not a sign of the teams, but a sign of what America thinks of these teams.

 

I said it Sunday and got roasted for it. I need to see more than one game. Saturday's game in Austin should, emphasis on should, tell me a lot more than last Saturday's scrimmage.

If Orgeron can’t beat Texas this year, hard to not say Herman was the superior hire. We out talent Texas AND they have a depleted stable of RBs. I have high expectations for Eaux and I don’t think I’m alone in that.

 

I agree that we played a crappy team. But we have an offense for the first time since 2013. We know the D is going to be the D. I am normally the last person to have any type of confidence in us winning a big game. But this team feels different and looks different. I am actually confident in them. I am not saying that we’ll win Saturday, but I am saying that I’m finally not nervous that the D will have to hold them to 10 points for us to win.

 

I am liking the positive attitude guys. Texas has a football team... Saturday should give us all a better idea how the season is going to go.
