Yep, he is ruthless on the radio. But obviously he has to tone it down on TV, otherwise he would never be able to get any guests to come on.
The one thing he does on his radio show that I fine funny is when people start emailing him about an "off color" topic, he always says to stop with the emails, but, yet continues to read them.
Kind of sucks that the Colts ended up with an interception to end the game--it kinda stole the spotlight from Addai's TD. I went crazy when JA scored though. I gotta pull for the Colts for Joe!
Indy fan quote about Addai: "JA is only going to get better. The guy cuts it upfield between the tackles a lot quicker than Edge ever did. I will say that when it comes to the stretch, Edge was a little better. Edge was more of a finesse runner, while Addai has the temperament and mentality of a FB...a guy who will just run you over, but still with plenty of quickness to bust any play wide, wide open. The interview after the game showed what kind of guy he is. I felt he was very uncomfortable in the limelight...he'd rather labor in the trenches, do his job, take care of his best friend and go home. What a breath of fresh air Joseph Addai is in a league frought with straight up punks and headline huggers like TO and Randy Moss."
That is the true test of a player's character. Had you not stated that an Indy fan made that comment, I would have thought that was a comment from an LSU fan. Different team and venue for Addai, same result.
It would be nice, but he and Rhodes' carries have been about even throughout the playoffs, thus lessening his chances of making enough plays to become MVP. But, hey, let's give him some more karma. He was already on Rome is Burning. For anyone who listens to Rome, you know jungle karma is never....and I mean....never a bad thing. Here's to Addai gaining 89 yards on 14 carries for 1 TD and having 4 receptions for 54 yards and another TD in a tight 24-21 victory.
