1. I'd take my phone off the hook. :thumb:
  2. hey Fan I was just ripping on Curtis thats all. Most people that grew up and played high school football would pretty much all say that JT has always been cocky towards other teams. Not saying he is a bad coach, but its kind of likea "VISOR" thing.

And you are intitled to your opinion and its the witty banter that makes this board great. My opinion your opinion its all good. I didn't mean anything personal and have enjoyed reading your responses to my opinions.

I just want to see the team make the right plays to put them into postion to score, that doesn't mean that I want to see them air it out all the damn time. Just run a wide open offense like last year. And for Saban to pick and stick with one qb for a whole game.
  3. Cool, not a problem. I need to take my own advice at times and just calm down, before I post responses. :)

I know how the Curtis thing is, some hate us and some like us. The one thing I liked about JT is that he does give a lot of respect to other programs around the state. I can't remember one film session where he ever said another team was less talented or bad. That was years ago though, and the Curtis legacy does have that "visor" thing you are talking about. For the longest time I felt if you didn't run the veer offense, then you just were not playing the game right. Now I see how the good programs build, it's not the offensive and defensive systems as much as it is about confidence and focus. LSU has that, and that is why I feel we have such a good program now . . . compared to the past.

Everyone should be heard, no matter the opinion, because in the end it is all 2nd guessing and subjective reasoning. We all want to see LSU win regardless of who is at QB or the style we use. I think I might have came off defensive at first and needed to put all these post into perspective. But like everyone else, I couldn't wait to wake up today and post my opinion on the game and what should have happened. We are all on the same team here, no grudges held.

LOL, thought about it . . . but I'll just take it like a man and hope we can outplay them in the SEC this year and get that SEC title again. They will certainly be calling, they called Thursday just to see if I was ready for the game. Thankfully it was a close game and not some blow out.
  4. I've already said I don't care who starts or steps up, I'd just as soon it be Jamarcus as Randall. have you read this? Link

I haven't been fawning over either QB, just stating facts like always. I just happen to be right, which obviously irks you. I don't care what your opinion is. I stated that MY OPINION was that some posters are fawning all over Jamarcus. ( not just you )
My statements are meant to shock you and make you WATCH Objectively instead of...well.... quite frankly ........ peein your pants everytime Jamarcus takes the field.

sorry but since this is a forum that's my opinion.

In all likely hood he will emerge as the better QB and step up soon. The sooner the better. I was just trying to point out how ignorant you and some others looked in stretching the truth. In your effort to convince everyone Jamarcus walks on water, you have come off looking quite enamoured by him, in a very schoolgirl way.

BTW thanks for the Punk commit, LOL Im way older than that, and by no means lil but hey if it makes you feel better bout dressin out in a skirt for jamarcus, go for it.

BTW: here is a man with a good bit of objectivity, check out what he had to say. ( from LSUsports.net )

    Coach Nick Saban
    On the LSU quarterback situation...

"I know you want to ask about the quarterback position, but somebody's got to take the bull by the horns at this position to get the kind of execution that we need. We get it at times from both guys and at times we get inconsistencies at that position. What affects the team is the inconsistent play, not who's playing. When we've got a guy wide open and we throw it five feet in the dirt in front of him, that's what hurts the team."

"So, it's not who's playing, it's the consistency that we get at the position. And both guys do some things well, and they make some mistakes that they need to improve on so that we get more consistent execution at that position. I think that is what will create the rhythm that we need for our team. I don't really care who does it or when it happens, the sooner the better, but somebody needs to do that. And I'm not sure that that's happened quite yet. We're going to continue to work with both guys, and we believe in both guys."
