Posting a chart proves nothing if you don't relate it to your statement. How can spending not help, when the economic problem is a slowdown in spending? My statement was "Overnight? None of it. By this time next year? Almost all of it. All it needs to do is get spent to help drive the economy." That means it will take some time to work and you have given it none.
We have been spending for the past 8 years. Didn't work. The economic problem is a slowdown of spending credit. People living beyond their means. Bubble popped. Now let's spend more to keep the slowdown from happening? That sounds ass-backwards to me.
