PURPLE TIGER HOPE is not a strategy!

I wonder what the comments on this page and the media's coverage would be had this occurred six months ago.

Obviosly, Bush, nor his staff, were stupid enough to do something like this. If they had been, they would have been called out also.

It would have made a Letterman top 10 list, just like it will for Obama.

I take it all back, that was worth the 328k.

Letterman said "Is it just me or is Obama Bushing it up?"

So did WE pay 328K for ONE photo or are we getting told again to march in formation and not dare question authority?

I could see how Obama may not have known about the photo op prior to it occuring but the response since that time has been poor. You fire one guy and them tell everyone to move along and forget what you saw. I thought this was the administration and party that wanted transparency.

They're pretty transparent to me. I can see right through them. :hihi:

Obama ordered an investigation. I think he's giving the guy due process and will not fire him until it is complete. One of the White House Military Office jobs IS public relations for Air Force One and he probably has a legitimate budget to spend on it and perhaps even a mandated task to maintain updated photos of the plane. The cost really ain't the issue here. The issue is whether he has exhibited very poor judgement in a position as important as his.

the fact that people think it's not an issue shows how far overboard this administration has already gone and how the masses have bought into it.
