all but 9/11 happened after the luncheon. should he have been arrested at the luncheon? still not sure what the problem is. i dont think they were giving out top secret info at the luncheon or anything.

My question is why did this guy feel so comfortable about attending the luncheon?

I would say this is just further evidence that Al-Qaeda is on the CIA payroll....

The DoD was recruiting friendly muslims to do propaganda for us and Rumsfeld invited a guy from the other side to consider. A guy that the FBI had connected with three 9/11 bombers. Read the quote, they vetted these rags politically and failed to vet them with the FBI and intelligence services.

you are not understanding my question. what is the negative of inviting the wrong dude to a party? he got to eat free food?

did he blow up the party? learn top secret info?

I think they are dismayed at the lack of security/background checks right after 9/11.

yeah they wouldnt want the wrong guy to get a hold of cocktail weenies at this very important meeting where they revealed the most closely held secrets of the pentagon.

It's Red. Bush was in office. If this happened under Obama, Red would have no problem with it.

I'll use small words. They were recruiting agents and foolishly invited the enemy to the event. Geez.
