Tell that to irrelevant Big 12 fan, who likes seeing 100pts scored per game. They just don't understand the beauty of a defensive struggle because they don't play defense in their conference.
Stop the run - run the ball Bama ran the ball better than we did Bama got to the score zone more often than we did Our kicking game was 100% and Bama was 50% Les has somebody on his staff with a eye for finding kickers and our STs won this game ! I don't want to hear a word about Nick being a better coach than Les - no way ! Les is the King of the SEC right now - period !
I agree with your entire post, except for this. You do know that we out-rushed them 148 to 96, right? We averaged 3.6 ypr to their 3.1.
Geaux Tigers's glad we won, but honestly, not a classic IMHO. Too many penalties, a bunch of missed field goals (thank God) and pretty unimaginative play calling. But a win is a win. I really wish Les had stuck with JL. I don't get what JJ brings to the table. He looks the same as he always has. Potential ain't squat. Maybe he should play as some kind of half back or something...run and throw (kinda) threat! In an offensive minded country, I would say no chance for a rematch. Which ain't that bad for us!
LSU had 148 total rushing yds to Bamas 96 3.6 yds per carry to their 3.1 ypc. The DL did a fantastic job of bottling up Richardson and Lacy. We didn't do quite as well stopping the pass to Richardson out of the backfield. They had a few more big plays than LSU did but in the end the D was a wall and Reid was Batman.
If my love life was like the Ole Miss football team, I guess I would take the one on the far right...gag, gag, gag.............GEAUX TIGERS. :hihi:
