Alabama/Georgia game just made the 2011 CG about 1000 times worse

That was the moment when Saban might as well have pulled out a knife and castrated Miles on the 50.

 

Mettenberger was not close to being ready to play. People complained when he played his first full season 2,500+ yards. Lee was Gawd awful against Bama everytime he took the damn field.

Even the Bama beat writer famously wrote just how bad Lee had played against them. Right on da money..

Except Saban lost to Miles in both 2010 & 2011. His first win in 2 years, was 1-9-12

BTW, which coach has beaten Saban more than any other coach? Is he now unemployed & collecting severance pay in favor of a bad hire by LSU..a Finch?

 

That doesn't answer the question of why Miles didn't even try to win on 1/9/12. At halftime the game was still close enough to be winnable. They might have lost anyway with Lee or Mettenberger but to not even try is inexcusable.
