Do you have some cold hard facts that you could share, or are you just spouting off? It's funny, when Auburn or anyone else was on probation they were cheaters, but when bama was on probation, they were the victims.

I doubt you can give me any points on how to respond on this forum...been here too long...but thanks anyway...

If I were to guess, it would revolve around Rev. Chette...which has been the mantra to a lot of Bama fans lately...they would die to hear our director of FCA say that Auburn has one of the best in the nation.

I agree. Terry is one of my favorites here and I carefully read everything he has to say. I obviously hit a nerve poking fun at the Bear's reputation for having an affinity for bourbon. I don't think I'm the first to make a joke about a dead celebrity. By the way, I never went swimming with Natalie Wood, flying with John Denver, or skiing with Sonny Bono.

If you call setting you gaol this year to get a bid to the Poulan Weed Eater Bowl being a NCAA powerhouse....you are sadly mistaken. It is ok to admit that your team is not where it once was.... (peaks and valleys)

In a place where they are still waiting for their fallen leader to rise from the dead and lead them once again to the promised land you shouldn't expect rational thought. They are on probation not because they paid $100,000 for a player but because Phat Phil pimped on them. They are 2-4 in the SEC not because they are a poor football team but because a of a couple of bad calls by the refs and because evenyone else in the SEC cheats(but not them). There are 7 programs in their own conference in better shape yet they are still the program that the whole nation is jealous of. Don't expect Bummers to have a firm grip on reality and you won't be disappointed when they spout off about what a powerhouse program they are and always have been.

Alabama has not been a powerhouse since the 70's. That was a long time ago my friend. They were decent in the 90's, but nowhere near powerhouse. The won one NC, that was a huge upset of Miami. But besides 92, when have they been in the NC hunt this late in the season since 1980?
