It's all about styles matching up. LSU and Bama are essentially very similar teams. Ole Miss plays a more spread, fast paced game. So they spread Bama and have a QB with the ARM STRENGTH to go down the field. Etling is gritty, tough as hell but he lacks the arm. Kelly is also a better runner than Etling. Truth is though the OL not able to run block really hurt.

On the other hand LSU matches up better against Ole Miss than Bama. We probably deeper in the secondary.
