Alabama Tailgate

That would be a good idea, or we can crash the rv party of geauxscott or bigbully.

I though lsubatgirl had her tailgaiting all planned out already!

 

fyi: we are staying in Meridian Friday night and should get to campus around 8am Saturday.

 

A couple of notes for you guys...

Looking for an RV isn't as easy as it sounds. There are a half a dozen or more RV lots in and around campus. If you were you guys, I'd exchange cell phone #'s and go from there. Even though I've been to a ton of football games over the years I still exchange #'s because you never can tell if you'll get the same place you had the last time. (unless you get there Thursday...RV's have been in town all week and are taking up spots as we speak.)

There is still construction going on at Coleman (basketball) so part of the lot where RV's normally park is blocked off.

 

We're invited to a Bama tailgate at Bidgood hall but I don't know where my friends from LSU are planning to set up. Gimme a break! Geez! And we will be getting to T-ville around 7:30am.:wink:

 

LSUFan71 and his dad seem to have a good plan so far and will be in the quad.

 

Can you park trucks near or next to the quad or is it enclosed like LSU?

 

I say we take over the quad!!! :rofl: I'm game!

 

It isn't enclosed. The SE and NW roads that border the Quad have parking spaces. I've seen them roped off and I've seen them open. Depends on what the University Police have in mind.

The SW side is University Blvd...and the NE side is the library with parking behind it. Depending on what time you get there is the deciding factor for where you'll end up parking. I don't try to park around the Quad...I normally park about 1/4 of a mile NW of it around the Engineering Buildings. It's easy in and out from that point and only about 1/2 mile from the stadium.

F'ing A!! I just won 2 tickets off of EBay (and, thanx to PayPal's BuyerCredit deal, no interest until May on the deal).

Best part is I just punked some dude named "BamaChris" who was bidding up against himself...until I jumped in with 4 seconds left and beat him by $5.
