Can't do much about that at this point. But I don't think we need to throw in the towel and say to hell with the season because we're not the most talented. With the talent we have 8-4 is realistic. Anything over that would be a very successful season.

"The best team doesn't always win the game. The best team THAT DAY wins the game."- Jimmy Johnson

If individual talent determined every game there'd be no need to play the game. We'll still cleat'em up and see what happens. :thumb:

I realize their is more talent coming in, too. I think Luther Davis and Kerry Murphy, if eligible, will see some major time.

One guy yall need to watch is Alfred McCullough. I know most of yalls fans mention the first two guys, but I wish AM was here. Plus he has the grades.

Alabama's front 7 on D is the weakest link on their team. However, their offense will be very good this year. Saban will have to work some magic with that defense but 8-4? I dont think so. 7-5 or 6-6 is more likely with the schedule, new system and that terrible defensive front. We will kill them.

Murphy is a stretch...a BIG stretch. Not even close right now on grades.

Is that McCullough kid the one who was the 5A defensive lineman on that state championship team? Dont remember the team (huntsville maybe?). If he is, that kid is a MONSTER. He single handedly took on almost the entire offensive line of the other team and ate em up. That was a great performance.

Why is it that we can't get half of that for our Spring game???? Now, I haven't been able to get down for the SG since I left Louisiana in 2001 :( but is it because the SG has been conducted more like a random scrimmage where the coaches randomly put the ball in specific down/distances or is it actually like a real game????

Probably because y'alls is run more like a practice/game hybrid like you've mentioned. Also has something to do with Bama fans being a bit on the NUTS side.

No idea how your SG is run. I know SC's is a full on game but we didn't have anywhere near that number in attendance. Spring practices are open for 3 weeks prior and 1 week after the SG but still. 90,000 is incredible.
