Basically, it says that any federal agent or agents who arrest alaskans for guns and or seizes guns in the state of Alaska will be arrested by Alaskan police. Good for you Alaska. Now if only California cops would have been doing this everytime the fed violated state law abiding citizens there maybe there wouldn't be good people like Charlie Lynch having their lives ruined by the fed.
States posturing against the Feds is just that...only that. Federal law trumps State law- don' t forget that.
We'll see how long that lasts when Alaska loses their highway and Medicare funding from Washington...
I disagree and see it just the opposite- takes the Fed to make the States. Without Federal jobs/monies, States would crumble.
Without the states the fed would crumble. All the fed does is redistribute taxes from state to states.
No read the constitution the federal government is a product of the states coming together. By adopting the constitution the states devolved certain powers to the feds and one of them is that federal laws supercede state laws.
A govt of the people. By the people and for The People has turned into Do as we say and don't worry about what we do.
