Well don't post there. People like you that are happy with a crappy win should geaux find some other team. You must not like politics. We should be happy with the D right? No thanks, I've lived through 1 Dinardo and Tepper regime and i don't care to live through another having said that i will be hopeful things will be better for Tenn. How many games can we possibly win with that kind of defense? Didn't NS teach you people anything about winning championships? Tonight wasn't the example for a top 5 team
This is the way I felt going in. I did not feel like this once the 3rd quarter got underway and our defensive problems became clear. 4th and 10 and we throw a 39 yard bomb? Wow, probably not what I would have called. But I'll take it. BTW, I felt the same way about the Oregon St. game last year. This is two years in a row I've been surprised by our performance (and not in a good way).
Are you insane? Do you know anything---anything---about the game of football? This kind of effort can and will get you killed in the SEC. I imagine most of the comments that you suggest are "negative" are tailored to address this simple yet unavoidable truth.
and so do some our fans. i watched the game and I realize we have ALOT to work on, but some of the posts were not necessary.
And what is wrong with making adjusments during the game? Did anyone not know that ASU was going to pass the entire 4th quarter? Not what I expected from a Pelini defense with his resume. Hopefully this was just a really bad game for the D and better things are ahead but I don'e see Tennessee calling one single running play until LSU proves it can play something that resembles pass defense.
Maybe he is from New Orleans, like me. You know, he's got Saints-itis, you know, where y ou have to spout that party line that a win is a win is a win - no exceptions allowed. No criticisms allowed. Drink the Kool-Aid. Maybe he is Tom Benson in disguise. :hihi:
We are going to look bad. I'm just happy we won. We've had more distractions than probably anyone has had to face in the last few years. We were playing a DAMN good Arizona State school on the road. ASU had a warm up game, ours was postponed. We are lucky to get out of that situation with a win. The team will be a much improved team by the time we host Tennessee. We will also have the home crowd behind us. I'm frankly surprised we looked as sharp as we did at times on offense.
I had nothing to do with the fact that we gave up 450 in the air. Based on the players coming back, that is inexcusable in my book. I think as fans, we have a right to vent
