Don't count on that. Bertman is feeling the heat, yes. Is he going to be doing a confidential search after 2 games against top 15 teams into Miles' career? No way in hell.
Yes, stats never lie. But they often mislead. No other team in the SEC has played ONLY opponents ranked in the top-15. No other team in the SEC has only TWO games to base statistics upon. The chances of LSU finishing this low on defense are nil. It will be interesting to watch the stats as the season progresses. But right now, I'd say that dismissing LSU's season based on these stats would be a erroneous conclusion based on a sample size of 2.
Once we factor the cupcakes with florida, vandy and miss state, I think we will have a VERY CLEAR PICTURE in the stat department. Getting back to the powers, remember there were several powers at lsu were not happy with the coaching search, they taught it was half ass, and those people now are screaming at bertman.
Great stats! we are behind some worst defenses in the league! Miles needs to get a copy and give it to Pellini. If pellini blames the players then show him the 2005 orange bowl stats
You got to consider your opponents on those stats.. 2 games one a come from behind triller and one a meltdown... I think time will tell and it may be a little early to hang the guy???
Congrats. You just posted a whole lot of statistics, bashing LSU's production vs and where we stand after games against the #15 and #10 teams in the country. Show me the stats of all SEC teams AGAINST teams in the top 15 and then repost. Amazing. Statistics DO show us a lot. They inform us a lot. But the bad thing about stats is that you can manipulate them to show what you want them to show. In this case, you're using statistical rankings to demonstrate LSU's inferior statistics compared to the rest of the SEC, but you fail to leave out the fact that none of those other schools have stats that are reflective of having to face a top 15 team twice thus far.
alright genius, here are the final statistics of last year and guess what...LSU played at least 4 top 15 teams. Take your illogical argument elsewhere.
