exactly. Miles isn't stupid, and I bet his agent isn't either. You haven't heard anything from Miles that is definitive because by being silent he is forcing LSU administration to retain him by giving him more money and an extension. At least that is what I am telling myself at this point.
Les would be a fool not to leverage the Michigan interest into a better deal. My question is if Michigan makes Les an offer in the $5M range, like what was rumored about Harbaugh, can (and would) LSU try to match that offer? Which to me, frankly, is a staggering amount of money for a HC.
Wasn't there some discussion last year about Alleva's letter and how it was interpreted to be not totally supportive? And I’ve seen discussion all year about was Les forced to keep some assistant coaches (read GC) by the administration. I’m in Houston so I miss a lot of the local information stuff. But maybe Les is addressing his own letter to Alleva. How do they get along really?
Post on td says has source that says deal almost done. 5-6 million range plus incentives. 7 million total with tv radio show. Deal is done if boosters will come up with money. Must be done by Monday afternoon. No bull---- says this guy. Miles hasn't been in contact with mich directly all done by agent and agency. Miles is gone if moneys right
