I read it on Dany Don's page too, fairly certain he wouldn't have posted it without complete certainty. He has a lot of integrity and is also privy to a lot of information from inside the program- as are many of the posters here too- not trying to discredit anyone. :thumb:
According to Michael Bonnette, the LSU S.I.D. Alley has not left and will be at practice today. Tune in to LSU Sports Showtime on Cox Channel 4 at 4:30 or at 11:30 tonight for more information.
Didn't we hear the same rumor during spring practice? Broussard quit the team? And then in the summer we heard that Perriloux was going to Grambling. When the Athletic Department announces a transfer, then I'll form an opinion.
Ummm... This would be the second time that Don's sources told him that Alley has quit. It makes no sense. Of all people who would understand you would think that Alley (who took playing time away from JV due to Vincent's poor running) would use his spot on the depth chart as motivation. Besides, they guy still has talent; He just hasn't fully recovered and/or doesn't have faith in his knee. You can tell by the way he doesn't hit the holes. Not so long ago the kid would be looking for someone to hit. Now he thinks he's Reggie Bush and tries to outrun everyone.
while it looks like dd might be wrong on this one... i can't think of very many things, or any at all, that dd got wrong. i can think of plenty of things that songy has gotten wrong, usually 2 or 3 things a show. i can also testify that miles and lsu sports mislead us about things quite regularly. i wouldn't call this done yet, we'll just have to wait until after practice. last i heard though, ab was in lafayette.
dudes and dudettes, a team is like a family, you know like american chopper and the teutels where you hating on each other one minute and wanting to kill each other but eventual realize you're still family. there's gonna be fights and quitting and threats and beatdowns but eventually you try to work it out. most of the time you work it out, other times maybe not but make no mistake, you never know the entire story no matter what you hear and never will. --------the preceding announcement paid for by dr. phil.
