You know what, as much as I hate to say it, this situation has problems that stem deeper than football. If Alley is having emotional problems and depression because of football, by all means he should do whatever neccessary to battle those demons. I'm sure he's feeling a lot of pressure and the fact that he may not be healed enough to compete like people (and himself) expect can do weird things to a young guy. Me and Alley are about the same age and I can empathize with him in a way. It may not be good news for LSU football, but fortunately we have a capable stable of RBs. I'm not saying that I don't care if he quits, that is just not true. If I were in his position, I'd realize the importance of sticking with my commitments, but then again I see where he's coming from... It could be hard for him to deal with and a psychologist may not be able to help Alley, it sounds to me like he's wanting to go full steam ahead and get his job back but maybe his injury is hampering that... who knows?
I think Jimmy Ott is a pretty reputable source, and Tiger Bait just adds creedence. I feel terrible that Broussard might be depressed enough to quit football. That sounds awful. Hopefully he can work through it.
This got me thinking....does anyone recall Amp Hill also had some setback with the knee surgery, and if so, the nature of the post op issue: scar or infection? ________ Box vaporizers
