I was watching the McDonald’s All-American Game last night on ESPN and after the game they showed the 3 point contest and the dunk fest. Anyway, Allison Hightower won the three point contest, so its nice to see Pokey is getting some outside range from her new recruits.

Terrific! Now if Bradey can do the same.

Damn...No offense, but that comment sounds rather "tongue-in-cheek"....

Who cares. As long as we keep winning, I'll go with what's working.

I think this is HUGE. Anyway to not allow defenders to drop down on Fowles next year is really big.

Kind of like JJ...you never saw anyone play helpside that was guarding him.

So glad to see the lady tigers get someone that can make the three... we don't even shoot the three to keep the D honest outside this year.

She looks like and LSU Tiger. She isn't a thug or anything which is always a plus. She has a sweet touch when she shoots the ball.

Hightower should get plenty of opportunity to play from the get go. Last night's loss to Duke illustrated that Pokey is going to have to change up her offense...especially with the personnel that she has coming back. With Hoston graduating, Hightower may be the most consistent outside threat. Pokey also has Katie Antony on hand. My question is: what happened to Quianna Chaney? Was she hurt? She has not seen any playing time.

The absence of a perimeter game hurt both teams this year. Bradey needs someone who can hit from the three point range.
