So do I. Would love to see the purple pants too. I don't mind the alternate unis as long as it's only one game a year. The kids like it, so why not?
Could probably live with it for a game. Weird watching these games where you have to keep reminding yourself which team is LSU. Standard look is so iconic. We already had the throwbacks that replaced the tiger head with numbers this year... Whatever. Glad we’re kinda phasing out toonces.
The helmet changes colors? Next thing you know gonna have a plume of turkey feathers sticking out the top of the helmets for Thanksgiving games. I know I'm an old school oldtimer and my memory sucks but don't we struggle in games wearing anything but gold helmets/pants and white jerseys?
Hey, Nike has to do something to justify its crazy fees. My favorite was a few years ago when they did tOSU a uni that looked nothing like what they've worn for the last 50 years, and on the front it said "Tradition." On the back, it should have said "Irony."
This new uniform crap seems to always backfire don't like it. Bama's uniforms are always the same not flashy but has done them well.
1. The players like them. 2. The recruits like them. 3. They sell well. I don't like them, but there are benefits.
