1. $1500 a gallon for that paint? Please someone tell me Nike ate the cost of that.
  2. Absolutely, and I think the idea of the tribute, as well as the tribute itself, is/was awesome. It was just executed very poorly.

  4. Oregon's tried a lot of looks, a lotta different helmets,.. some of them looked absolutely gorgeous in person, but it just didn't translate and looked bad or meh, when you saw them on TV,.. in daylight or under the lights, makes a big difference in how the shiny stuff looks too.

Nike designers first presented the uniform to LSU in the spring of 2017, and Stringfellow asked if the color-changing helmets had ever been done before. Oregon had tried to do it once, they told him, with helmets that were supposed to change from yellow to green; but the colors never really changed.
  5. Those were some ugly ass uniforms. Not only that, a couple of times I got confused which team was LSU.

  7. I applaud the recognizing of the team from 1918 but I did not like the uniforoms at All.

Just a little more purple and gold was needed. I didn't hate the helmet but man I love the traditional Gold pants and White Jerseys and our gold helmets. It is one if not the best in college football.

  8. I like our uniforms a lot too.
  9. I went to the game and you could not see the helmet color change effect in person. The jersey numbers were easy to see.

Not enough gold. Looked like some other team.
