last I heard was that this years team was winning 10-4 in the seventh... lighting bumstead and thompkins up... but of course skip is gonna take it easy... what i want to know is how come the alumni team can NEVER get decent pitching? hell get ainsworth over here or something...
It is hard to get top-line pitching to commit, as most are not in shape or ready to throw competitively. They are usually just starting to crank it up a bit more. The risk for someone like Ainsworth, Leskanic, etc to throw is too great
Exactly, the last thing these guys want to do at this point is to get an injury throwing comptetive baseball in early February. I'd imagine there are a lot of GM's that tell em NO!
