Wrong. I have seen it stated...accurately...TOO many times on this and other sites that Jarrett Lee is likely what he is today because he was thrown to the wolves too early. I agree with that...and it has everything to do with RP. When he failed, JJ was then thrown to the wolves way too early...ALSO due to the fact that RP was rightfully no longer on the team. I understand your point that he wouldn't be here now anyway, but unfortunately, his legacy lives on.
Yea, I had only one cup of coffee that morning also - and I found out the wife had slipped me decaf. So I was crabby. In our youth she would sneak up on me and spike my drink and 'take advantage' of me - now that was a fun game. Now she sneaks up on me by withholding my the last legal drug. Youth was better. Much much better
she's slipping you decaf to prepare you for when those bills for the wedding of the century start hitting. :hihi:
On that same note.. Some say Miles is too loyal, I say he's making damn sure the same thing doesn't happen with his next young QB that happened with Lee and JJ. As for Mett, his days are numbered with the fans. As soon as he throws a bad pass or interception, people will be screaming for Rivers to start. Life as usual.
To Late. I don't need decaf coffee - I need Irish coffee. QUESTION - How much should a handful of small alterations on a wedding dress cost?
The logical and probably best answer for your well-being is, "Whatever she thinks is reasonable."
I agree with this. How many times have we heard that QBs thrown in the fire to soon don't mature correctly - they develop bad habits. Like throwing off their back foot (JL), or hesitate in decisive moments (JJ). They would never have been all American QBs if they have matured before having to start, but they would have been at least average. And average QB play puts us in the Sugar Bowl, above average and we play Oregon back to back.
Actually, no I'm not; never have been. Then again, I'm never was one to tell someone what I think they want to hear.. Go figure.. :thumb:
