Forward progress had been stopped, but I saw it and didn't hear a whistle till after the strip. What's the rule? Officials can determine when it's a fumble or not. Clay Matthews stripped one on a similar play in an NFL game, forward progress was stopped, no whistle, he returned it for a TD.

When my 10 year old daughter is jumping up and down saying it was obvious the ball came out before the whistle, you would think the coach of the team would have at least as much enthusiasm. I'm just saying.
