got the chromebook installed ubuntu and steam. just seeing what games it can do. need an external drive. dual boot is pretty easy. i like how you can throw anything at it without being able to fuck it up.
This is fucked!!!!! You can no longer cast youtube to firestick. And Amazon has pulled the youtube app from firestick. Rivalries between the giants of the industry. theres a fix to put the old app back on the device that works fine. turn off auto updates turn on install from unknown sources and adp debugging download downloader enable javascript go to bit.ly/oldfiretvyoutube here
Get you a chromecast. For like $40. I forget about the tv wars. You can’t cast prime video with chromecast. Buncha babies

As expected Amazon support won't help me to jailbreak their own device to help me watch a competitors programming. I think the solution in the video and in another I watched would work if I could see the same sttings interface but from the settings panel in alexa.amazon.com i have no way to do anything useful. I think the video might be referring to the add-on firestick rather than the fire tv.
