    Hats off to American Pharoah. 37 yr drought is over. One of the fastest 1 1/2 mile times in history, and his final 1/4 mile was actually faster than Secretariat's. This is truly one of the greatest race horses in history.

    Wasn't sure that he would do it after watching a seemingly invincible Big Brown come out last in the Belmont.

    Now he will earn an estimated $7 Million a year in stud fees at $100K per session. They should change his name from American Pharoah to American Gigolo.

    Of course, Secretariat wasn't being pushed by any other horse for that final quarter. One of the great moments in American sports history.

    Pie-O-My would have won the Triple Crown if Ralphie Cifaretto hadnt burned down the stables for the insurance money.
