meh. in my experience, a higher portion of h1bs are dolts. they kick the hell out of a gre but make poor scientists. but i completely agree that the educational system sucks. it will continue to until industry becomes proactive. show students early on and throughout their education why to study. what can they do with knowledge/experience. how their life will be better.
