    the thing with Bloom

    Is that he was trying to COLLECT on endoresments WHILE still playing for colorado. This is just part of the appeals process he started when he first chose to play and the NCAA rule was in place.
    AND the NCAA didn't say he couldn't play, the ruling was he couldn't play if he was still gonna Collect the endoresment money.

    Katt, that was the reasoning, but it's a crock. Jaime Howard was paid by the Braves all 4 years he was playing football at LSU. Although he didn't have endorsements, he was a professional. The NCAA is being 2 faced, especially since they do not sanction skiing competitions.

    If he were getting the endorsements for his playing at Colorado, that would be different. But the money is coming from the ski equipment companies. I think it was a bad ruling.

    of course it is bad. typical hypocrisy of the NCAA such as they allow one sport to throw their name in the draft and not the others. they take in all the money they can with one face then preach student athlete with the other.
