Playing the numbers game, you do know that people were aggitating for Saban's firing and chances are he would have had, at most, one more year in Miami? That comes to 4.5 million vs 32 million. Besides that, even more importantly, the ignominy of being fired would have been much worse to someone of Saban's makeup than that of leaving Miami the way he did. That is the reality.
He's got to be at Bama for 8 years to get the 32m. But, it still doesn't do a thing against the Miami owner telling him to follow his heart back to college football. It doesn't bring a thing to the debate about the difference in the money. It's an argument (he left for $) that has no merit.
