The funny thing is, Miles would have never even been mentioned while he was at Oklahoma St. Now, lots of Michigan fans would love to have him there!

I guess this is a pretty clear indication of how the rest of the country feels about the job he's done here so far.

Nope, it's a conspiracy hell bent on destroying LSU's recruiting efforts by spreading rumors every year that our coach is leaving. They're trying to keep the purple man down. :thumb:

If Miles left I'll bet Phil Fulmer would be available:grin: Seriously, although Miles went to Michigan I don't know that nowadays anyone, even a Michigan alumnus, would think that job was better than LSU. My bet is that even if offered the job Miles would pass on it. Baton Rouge is a pretty great place to live and work, especially if you're a winning coach at LSU.

One guy I believe would take our job in a split second, although it probably would never be offered, and that's Tuberville He has no morals and he wouldn't mind leaving Auburn in the lurch after how they treated him a couple of years ago (and frank I think he might be justified in that situation.)

I agree with everything except the part about Baton Rouge being a great place
to live and work if your a winning coach at LSU.
Les has taken more heat for a 10-1 season than alot of coach's around the country do for loosing seasons.
I don't think Coach Miles is going to leave, but would not blame him if he did.

In reality, it's a relative few who are doing the complaining. Unfortunately, they all have this in common:

Just don't be going violaceous on us.

As for a coach, I still would like Mike Leach or sorry, Hawker45, Kirk Ferentz.

Dang, this seems like such a strange topic. You just don't walk away from one of the TOP jobs in the country unless you really WANT to go to the NFL. Mama isn't calling that loud, or she would have whispered in Miles ear like West Virginia did for CRR.
