man, Tulane may have the toughest regional in the whole thing. Three top 25 teams in the regional with the over all seed? Then you get matched up with a team that barely missed hosting their own SR?
I'm not shocked but I was hoping it wouldn't happen. Oh, well. It did happen so now let's just PLAY BALL!!:tigbas:
NCAA = MONEY Not shocked at all with the possibility of putting 12,000+ fans in Zephyr Field for the SR.
You see, I wasn't shocked at all. Especially with Dickson on the commitee, it had LSU-Weenies Super written all over it. Too much potential $$$ for the NCAA to pass that up, and with Dickson feeling that Tulane has the far superior team, he was making a big push for it I'm sure. But now that the Second Season has begun : :geauxtige , GEAUX SEC, and especially, ROLL o: TIDEo: ROLL o: :tigbas:
I am very HAPPY it happened. Get to kick their over-rated asses out of the Tournament! Just what I wanted!!!! :hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi::hihi:
I don't think so. I had been hearing that Tulane didn't want to play LSU again if both teams advanced. The Times Pic article said Dickson would be pushing to not have the two schools paired together. http://www.tigerforums.com/showthread.php?t=27707&page=1
Baseball America has the bracket, the final regular season poll, and Will Kimmey's thoughts on the tournament selections. http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/college/index.html LSU fell to #13, and Rice is #14.
