It was men among leprechauns. Alabama has just finished off the greatest 4 year period in the history of modern day college football. It was dominate, unkind and resistance was futile. It was Gump trench warfare making the most decorated defensive player in the history of college football, look pedestrian and dazed, throughout this massacre in Miami. It was amazing that the media and the ND players and fans just couldn't seem to emotionally catch up to what they see. Size, speed and athleticism, seldom make a greater impact then wishful thinking of the heart. And 40 days to wish made for some incredible rationalizing on the part of so-called experts, who should have known better. Talk about hope that springs forth eternal, their NT, after the slaughter, still couldn't confirm that their vaulted and over ballyhoo defensive front seven was somehow dominated for 4 quarters. Anyway, time to start thinking about 2013 and what lies ahead. My guess, a lot more of the obvious.
