Unless UCLA gets roflstomped two weeks in a row they should get a Rose Bowl Bid (and if they do get roflstomped two weeks in a row, Stanford will get the Rose Bowl bid).

The biggest question concerning a Notre Dame loss and a Florida win is Oregon.

If Stanford loses at UCLA this weekend (somewhat likely), then Oregon would play back to back top 15 teams to bolster their rankings in both the computer polls and human polls (Oregon State and UCLA).

Wins by Georgia, Alabama, Florida and Oregon with Notre Dame losing this coming weekend would produce the following human polls:

    1. Alabama
    2. Georgia
    3. Oregon
    4. Florida
    5. Notre Dame

What is key here is that Notre Dame drops all the way to #5 as opposed to wedging itself in between Oregon and Florida at the #4 spot (which is possible but I don't think likely). If they do wedge themselves, then the door is open for a Pac-12 Champ Oregon to finish ahead of Florida in the BCS.

The problem for Oregon right now is that they are 4 spots behind Florida on average in the computer polls. If they beat Oregon State and UCLA, they will close that gap considerably, but unknown at this point as to exactly how much.

So essentially we are looking at an 11-1 Florida team who couldn't even win their division get in over a 1 loss PAC-12 Champ Oregon whose only loss was in OT to a top 12 Stanford team.

So fast forward to Georgia beating Alabama.

    We now get:

    1. Georgia
    2. Oregon
    3. Florida
    4. Notre Dame

If Oregon does indeed get a chance to play UCLA and wipes them off the field, do the voters leapfrog them to #1 ahead of Georgia? Absolutely not. Georgia just beat #1 Alabama. Oregon would have beaten a #12/#13/#14 UCLA.

If you thought the BCS was in shambles last year when Alabama got an undeserved 2nd shot at LSU, then this one would blow that scenario out of the water.

Florida vs Georgia in the NC CG.
