Anti-Tebownites: Check out this video of the OSU player taking it to him

That video is part of the reason that I've never been an OSU fan. I used to live with a guy who was always a big Buckeye fan and I never understood it. About 3 or 4 years ago I remember him telling me that one of their players stomped on a guy during a game. I see that things haven't really changed much. Why does the media like teams that act like scumbags??? If an LSU player did something like that I would seriously consider giving him the boot or at least a hefty suspension to make him think about things. I don't particularly care for Tebow but I also don't want to see that happen to him.

 

What I do not like is the spelling of his name. It should be (Thibeaux).:cuss:

 

I don't think Meyer is dumb enough to expose his QB. You look at Alex Smith at Utah and Meyer protected him there. He's not gonna put him in a system where he's gonna let him get hit, i don't know what the florida qb system will be like next year but I think it'll be mainly one QB so he NEEDS him to be healthy for a successful season. We all thought tebow was gonna get killed by LSU, but the dude just doesn't get hit hard.

As much a rebel rouser as he seems to be...No telling what Tebow was saying. Still no excuse. The player for OSU should have drawn a personal foul and/or been tossed.

I have been saying that Tebow's career will be short if he is continually exposed. He will get his big plays and will stay the annointed on for a while. Then when he gets hurt, there will be a lot of second guessing about how exposed he was to the SEC defenses.

As I have said so many times. He is sturdy, big and seems to be an excellent athlete. But, it only takes one wrong turn, fall, hit, etc. To me, it's his coach that's the most irritating.

 

But then again, anyone that plays any physical sport has a risk of injury. I hope he does well, i hate to see good, talented kids get injured. The only difference now is that defensive ends will have free shots to get to him on sacks which they couldn't do before because he always ran inside. He'll be exposed like anyother QB in college football.

 

Those of you who are thinking Florida will drop next year with Tebow are kidding yourselves. If this kid was wearing Purple and Gold you would be praising him. First off, all year long Tebow had a decent amount of playing time. All year long EVERYONE knew what he was going to do when he entered the game. Run between the tackles. Did anyone stop him? Nope! So why would he suddenly be stopped next year? Yes, defenses will see him more and adapt to strictly him, not just Leak, but the Florida coaches will also adapt. He isnt a great passer right now, but as mentioned Florida uses a lot of crossing routes and misdirection. Tebow wont have to be the best pure passer, as he evolves they will expand. Plus with the weapons he has, especially Harvin in the bacfield, Tebow will be successful. I dont think Florida will be as good, but they will still be capable of beating anyone.

 

I have no problem with enthusiasm but believe that Tebow is a jerk. If he continues to pump his fist after every two yard gain and jump up and down after each first down, he's not going to last long in the SEC. With every celebration he adds another color to the bullseye on his chest.

At some point his offensive line will break down and some DE will take his head off. When that happens and the DE starts pumping his fist, will Gator fans think that's okay or will they get upset?

Just like Tomlinson, if you can't take it don't dish it out. Being excited is okay...being an arrogant ass**** is not.

Mr. Tebow will receive his official welcome as a full-time starter this fall. Let's see if he has matured or still continues with his childish antics.
