Any of you guys without power in Baton Rouge?

    Well, there are trees down all over in my "old tree" neighborhood. One big live oak hit a house just four down the street from me. Took out all of the utilities, of course and blocked the steet, too. I expect it will be several days before power is restored. I heard at least 20 transformers blow up during the storm. Over 600 trees are down in EBR that block streets or knocked out power lines.

    But the paper man delivered my Advocate pre-dawn!

    Fortunately my trees are in place and I only lost about a dozen shingles. Cleanup in my yard took less than an hour. So I'm up at the office this morning where I can make coffee and drink it in the A/C. Charging the cellphone, grabbing the email, and watching the TV news for the first time in 28 hours.
