Any word on Zach Mettenberger?

    Maybe, maybe not. If something was already torn, he wouldn't hurt it worse by putting weight on it.

    The reason you can walk on a torn ACL is that it merely holds your leg in alignment. A person with a leg as strong on Mett must have wouldn't need it to just walk. Running and jumping, though? Yep, you need your ACL.

    I injured mine so badly that I don't really have an ACL anymore. I have to keep my thigh and calf muscles really strong to hold everything in place.

    Mariota decided he will be back in 2014.

    So that's one more QB Zach doesn't have to worry about in the draft. Good news.

    Brought me to tears. My respect level for that guy went sky high. He loves our school and I wish him nothing but the best in the NFL. Zach always a Tiger!
