Any Word Yet On Single-Game Ticket Sales?

    Like what's available? When do they go on sale?

    I saw August 14 on another site, but that's not official.

    My rough calculations--at least for the OSU game (I think they had an allocation of 5,000, all sold)---puts a max number of 5 to 6,000 individual tickets on sale come the 14th (66,500 LSU season tix, 15,000 student season tix, 5,000 visitor tix).

    Battling other LSU fans and ticket brokers doesn't make me feel too confident, though. I'm scanning Ebay like a hawk, but probably will just come to campus on gameday with cash in hand to see what's available.

    Don't forget all the fat cat legislators and such that get a fist full of free tickets.

    Why would LSU withhold tickets to sell for individual games when they could sell them as season tickets?
