Game is offered as a PPV for $30 (posted in a separate thread). I would pay up to half of that. I am sure others on this board would show up as well, as we have a decent Austin population on here.
There is no one that is got it on up here at Ft Hood. So I hope I can at least either check the radio broadcast on the internet, OR pray that there are no clouds in the sky so I can pick up 870am.
I just bought the streaming video from lsusports.net. Now I need to see if the s-video port on my laptop allows me to output to TV. If so, that would be awesome. I have yet to try and use it.
Whoa, brother, stop the presses: What do you *mean* it's available on PPV? Seriously, where's this $30 deal available? Surely Austin, TX isn't the only place outside of La. and Ark. to offer this deal.
Well... It's still on the DirecTV schedule as of a few minutes ago... LINK (to a DirecTV.com search for "LSU") If that link doesn't work for some reason, just go to www.directv.com and search for "LSU". If the internet stream sucks for some reason, I'll probably break down and even buy it mid-game from DTV... That's what's bad about Gameplan. It doesn't get you all the games. Seems like the game is only available on tv via PPV (thanks Tigers, we know the drill). That's why it is a PPV event on DTV. For some reason, the guide shows the event on Ch.782, but I can't order it and other guys are having the same problems. Hell, even the DTV operators don't even think it is available tonight. Those people should be looking at the guide when we call them. They should see what we are talking about. Who to trust, the guide or the DTV operators? Normally I'd go with the guide. But there is no order function right now. SH*T. Who knows? :cuss:
