Anybody listen to tonight's Les Miles Show

I listened.

Les Miles is a lot tougher than most of you give him credit for. He stood up to all questions put before him and made a lot of the callers sound like idiots.

I do not mean that he made them sound that way, they just sounded that way.

Glad Les shut that tool up. You can disagree with a coach, but dont act like an ass. Show some class.

 

first caller, i think it was when i turned it on, said the reason the team performs like it did is because their coach is soft. kinda went 3rd person while talking to directly to les. said they arent motivated because hes not motivated or something to that effect.

les was at a loss and there was about a 30 second period of awkward silence where he and jim were a bit dumbfounded waiting for the other to speak.


then les tried to address it but was stumbling all over his words. he stayed professional, however and did his best.

the first half of the show he was struggling to speak coherently actually. worse than normal. there was another short thread about it earlier. i like the guy but its tough listening. last year i was hoping it was nerves and being uncomfortable but after we hear it again, we have no idea what was said.

thats the thing i feared would be a problem if he began to lose games. he cant instill confidence in the fanbase in venues like this that would help him in the long run. at least not for me. you have nothing to grasp letting you know he can correct what's broken or even aware what is.

Yeah, we've got the players...

...and they're damn good players with a good coaching staff...

Well look at our players, those that play - they love to play and make those plays.

Mistakes are there to be made, we're not proud of that, and nobody should be proud of that, but it is what it is and all you can do is not focus on those mistakes that were there to be made and focus on the mistakes that you're not making and that you don't want to make, or not.

I doubt that I have doubts about that, I really don't know or believe that we will lose again, now or in the future, as per our schedule, which is about as tough as it gets, which is pretty tough as you all well know and understand to the best of your abilities, given what they are, I trust you know what that is or might be in your own minds, which are obviously different than my mind, and in my mind...

I mean, this is football, how much can you know, and furthermore, how much can I know, if you're asking me, even if you're not?

I mean, how much do you know that you know?

What do you think that you think?

Let's go get 'em!!!!!!!
